Apple yesterday announced a special event scheduled for next Tuesday, March 17, 2009, to roll out a preview of the up and coming iPhone OS 3.0. This should be an interesting event and I’d say that they’ll somehow tie in something about being green given that it falls on St. Patrick’s Day. iPhone OS 3.0 could potentially bring: (all of this is pure speculation and a lot of hope…)
- System-wide copy/paste
- Support for the integrated camera to capture video in addition to the still photos
- Support for running multiple 3rd party apps
One thing is for sure. Apple will no doubt throw a few surprises in there as well. Stay tuned here for our thoughts and reactions to the announcement.
